Learning to fly a Tailwheel aircraft will unlock a skillset that has been lost by many pilots due to the ease of flying more modern nosewheel equipped airplanes. In addition to the added skills earned from flying the Tailwheel, these aircraft also allow more versatility for missions geared towards less friendly environments such as unimproved fields and backcountry operations.   However, even if you plan to stick with tricycle geared airplanes, your skills learned during this endorsement will carry over nicely. 

The Cessna 140 that we use is an excellent tailwheel training platform with very stable and predictable tendencies. Being the predecessor of the popular Cessna 150/152 lines, you will feel right at home if you have any experience flying a high-wing Cessna. For the low wing folks, this aircraft is an excellent way to get exposed to the of flying a high wing.
